Disc Golf

Disc golf is a disc game in which individual players throw a flying disc at a target.  According to the Professional Disc Golf Association, “The object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc.”

Disc Golf has an early history tied to the recreational flying disc (especially as popularized by the trademarked Frisbee), and may have been invented in the early 1900s.   The modern game of disc golf started in the early 1960s when it seems to have been invented in many places and by many people independently.  The game is now played in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Test your technique, strategies and precision when playing disc golf.  It’s fun and exhilarating as team’s battle against each other for the ultimate goal of sinking the disc with the lowest score. It is operated on the same basis as golf i.e. a 2 ball or a 4 ball but has slightly differing rules.   The disc is aimed at the target which is mounted on a pole – some may even be lucky enough to get a hole-in-one.
